Cake Sizes

Below you can browse the typical cake sizes we offer. At the Cake Boutique we create custom cakes for events from 8 to 250 and more guests. Before making any decision, please carefully review how many servings each cake size provides and how many servings you need. If you are looking for a cake size not listed below, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are sure we can accommodate with our luxury custom cake designs.

6 inch cake for 8-12 servings

8 inch cake for 20-25 servings

Do you deliver your products?

Yes, we do deliver but have limited availability to do so! Typically, we offer free delivery within the 77479 ZIP code and outside the 77479 ZIP there will be a delivery fee. There is a minimum order of $75 for delivery orders. Give us a call if you have a special request or want to know if we can deliver to your location on a specific day.

What is your shipping policy?

We do not offer shipping of any of our creations. All orders can only be pick-up at our location at 4519 Brazos Shores Dr, Sugar Land, TX 77479. For the moment we are not shipping through any delivery carrier nor do we allow pick-up through delivery services likes Uber or Doordash

Do you offer gluten free options?

Yes, we do offer gluten free options! The Cake Boutique is a custom bakery so if you have any ingredient you would like us no to use for your order, we will definitely try to accommodate! Give us a call to discuss options..

What payment methods do you offer?

You can pay for your order in a variety of ways. You can pay through Zelle (720.662.2957 or sales@cake.boutique), Venmo (@EllahsCakeBoutique), Square Cash ($EllahsCakeBoutique), Paypal (sales@cake.boutique), or use the online payment form or link in the invoice to pay via credit card or bank payment (ACH). As a small business, we prefer payment via Zelle or ACH. given the high cost of payment processing fees for other payment methods.

May I bring in a picture of a cake I have seen elsewhere?

Absolutely! Chef Ellah will incorporate elements from online or magazine pictures that you bring in to us. Chef Ellah will use these as inspiration to create a custom designed cake especially for you

May I display my cake outside?

Displaying a cake outside is not recommended. Besides the danger of the buttercream melting (temperatures above 75 degrees), cakes displayed outdoors stand the chance of drawing insects. Bees and flies like our cake too! If you must display your cake outside, you do so at your own risk and we highly recommend fondant icing instead of buttercream. Keep in mind, a tent outside in the summer is considered ``outside`` even if it is air-conditioned.

Are custom cake deposits refundable?

Deposits for custom cakes are not refundable and not transferable within 14 days of the date of your event. Deposits for wedding order are final and non-refundable and non-transferable.

Do you offer cake tastings and consultations?

Yes, we do offer tastings but by appointment only. Typically, we only schedule tastings and consultations for wedding and other large events. There is a fee of $20 for cake tastings which we will credit against your cake order if you decide to order with us. If you would like to get more information or to schedule a cake tasting or consultation, please email, call or send us a message.

Do you provide fresh flowers or does my florist?

We can provide a limited selection of flowers to you based on what is readily available at stores near our location. Florists will have the widest selection if you want a specific variety of flowers. If you want to exactly match the flowers at your wedding, please get your flowers from your florist. If you decide to use flowers from your florist, you will need to bring us the flowers 24-48 hours before your wedding.

Who puts the flowers on my cake?

Chef Ellah will put the flowers on your cake. If you are using your florist for the flowers on your cake, make sure you specify loose flowers and communicate to your florist that The Cake Boutique will arrange the flowers on your cake. You will have to bring the flowers to the Cake Boutique 24-48 hours before the wedding.

What and where are the headquarters of your company ?

Do I bring my cake topper to the bakery?

Yes, we prefer if you bring us the cake topper you want us to include in your creation.

Do you make ``fake cake layers``?

There is a lot of information out there on wedding planning websites and in bridal magazines on how to save money on your wedding. We understand. Weddings are expensive. Unfortunately, there is a misconception that Styrofoam cakes are less expensive to produce than real cakes. From our perspective, what makes a wedding cake cost what it does is the amount of labor (i.e. time) involved in decorating a wedding cake. What you are decorating (cake or Styrofoam) does not matter as much as the skill level of the person decorating the cake. A highly skilled decorator still has to be paid the same wage – no matter what their medium. Styrofoam is actually more difficult to work with. If you are looking to save money on a wedding cake, it’s best to choose a simple design or a smaller structure with “extra servings” cake. We do not recommend doing more than half as “extra servings” cake, or your displayed cake will look too small for the room. If your cake budget is a key issue, please know that we always try to work with you to find something that is both beautiful and reasonably priced.
