Leonila Jr Nijsters, also known as Chef Ellah started her career in the cake and pastry business in 2013, serving the expat community in Singapore. After relocating to Denver, Colorado, Chef Ellah grew her cottage food law business ‘Ellah’s Cakery’ into a succes with many happy and repeat customers. Having moved with her family to Sugar Land, TX, Chef Ellah strives to bring the same name and fame to the Sugar Land, Missouri City and Sienna region.

Chef Ellah was born and raised in Manila in the Philippines and is now a US Citizen. She holds a culinary degree from the world-renowned Johnson & Wales University where she graduated summa cum laude as Pastry Chef. Chef Ellah has certificates from various institutes illustrating her knowledge and competence in cake decoration amongst which a Masters’s Certificate from the Knightsbridge School of Cake Decorating and Confectionery Arts
